We were taught "Western Civilization brought progress."
Revisionist history is finally telling the truth: Modern Western wealth was not MADE. It was TAKEN.

As colonial powers stripped wealth from the lands they exploited, often causing significant environmental damage and destroying countless lives, the residents did not peacefully accept it.

The 6 Colonial Crimes scholars now list:
1. Transatlantic Slave Trade
2. Colonial exploitation
3. Forced labor in lieu of taxation
4. Land theft in settler colonies
5. Genocide
6. Theft of cultural artifacts

This wasn't excess. It was the business model. Colonial extraction has evolved – not disappeared – through neo-colonial mechanisms of trade, debt, and foreign aid that perpetuate dependency while masking themselves as development partnerships

Our deeply unequal world has a long history of colonial domination which has largely benefited the richest people.

The horse changed. The rider didn't.

Racism wasn't ignorance. It was an INVENTION to justify pillage. Western Civilization didn't become rich despite racism. It became rich because of it.

Stop calling it history. It's a crime scene we still live in.
